Description

Roasted to order — ships within 24 hours of your roast date.

A Sweet, Dessert-Style Medium Roast Blend Built for Milk Drinks

Maple Croffle is a medium roast blend of 100% specialty Arabica from El Salvador, Colombia and Indonesia, roasted fresh in Kuala Lumpur. It opens with maple syrup, settles into a milk chocolate middle and finishes on soft toffee — sweet without being sticky. Low acidity and an easy, comforting cup, built to hold its own in a flat white, an iced latte or wherever milk gets involved.

Tasting Notes

Maple Syrup · Milk Chocolate · Toffee
Smooth, syrupy mouthfeel with gentle dessert sweetness, low acidity and a soft toffee finish. Pairs beautifully with milk, and still drinks well black.

About This Coffee

Maple Croffle is dessert-leaning, not dessert-imitating — no syrups, no flavourings, just three origins doing dessert work the way real coffee can. El Salvador lays down the milk chocolate base: a smooth, low-acid backbone that makes the cup so easy in milk. Colombia is the toffee bridge, adding clean, sugary sweetness that ties everything together so the finish lands like proper toffee rather than generic sweetness.

Indonesia brings the syrupy depth — a heavier, richer mouthfeel that lets the maple note hang around instead of vanishing on the second sip. The result is a forgiving, crowd-pleasing coffee: medium roast and low acidity mean it holds up to small grind or temperature mistakes, which makes it a safe first cup for new espresso machines, busy mornings and friends dropping by.

How to Brew Maple Croffle

Espresso 1:1.5 ratio, 18g in / 28g out in 28–32 seconds
Filter 1:14 ratio, 18g coffee to 250ml water at 92°C

If your espresso tastes sharp or thin, grind a little finer; if it tastes harsh or dry, grind coarser. For filter, dial the grind to land a 3 to 4 minute brew.

How Much Coffee Is in a Bag?

At about 15g per cup, a 300g bag makes roughly 20 cups, or about RM1.95 per cup. The 1kg bag stretches to around 66 cups at roughly RM1.80 per cup. A genuinely affordable daily driver, roasted fresh in KL.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Maple Croffle better for espresso or filter?
Both work, but it shines as espresso and in milk drinks. Pull it short and add cold milk and the maple-toffee sweetness cuts straight through for dessert-like lattes, while filter at 1:14 keeps the toffee sitting gently on the finish.

What does Maple Croffle taste like?
Maple syrup up front, a milk chocolate middle and a soft toffee finish. It is sweet, smooth and very low in acidity — comforting and dessert-leaning rather than bright or fruity, with the sweetness coming from the beans, not added syrups.

How fresh is the coffee?
We roast to order in Kuala Lumpur, print the roast date on every bag and ship within 24 hours of roasting. It reaches you a few days later. Coffee beans taste best from 5 to 7 days after roasting and stay good to about day 30, so the whole window is yours.

Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. It is forgiving and crowd-pleasing — low acidity, balanced extraction and great with milk. A simple 1:2 espresso or 1:14 filter recipe gets you a delicious cup with minimal fuss.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, from RM80 in Peninsular Malaysia (RM7 below that). The 1kg bag ships free; two 300g bags at RM75 sit just under the line. East Malaysia ships free from RM150 and Singapore from RM200. Subscriptions ship free anywhere in Malaysia.
