Honduras La Victoria Washed is a 100% Arabica coffee from our Terroir Bio collection.

This coffee is grown in the La Paz region of Honduras, at elevations between 1,300 and 1,700 meters.

🌱 Variety and terroir 🌱

La Victoria is grown in Marcala, in the mountainous Montecillos region of southwestern Honduras. This historic coffee-growing area has a designation of origin and is home to thousands of small producers. At elevations between 1,300 and 1,700 meters, cooler temperatures encourage the cherries to ripen gradually and develop aromatic complexity. La Victoria combines three Arabica varieties (Red Catuaí, Icatu, and Paraneima), whose blend contributes to its rich, balanced, and slightly fruity profile.

💧 Washed process 💧

As its name suggests, Victoria Washed is processed using the washed method. After harvesting, the cherries are depulped to remove their skin and some of their flesh. The beans are then fermented to loosen the remaining mucilage before being washed and dried. This process produces a clean, balanced cup in which the coffee’s characteristics and terroir can fully shine. Here, it highlights La Victoria’s chocolatey sweetness while bringing out its delicate citrus freshness.
