Description
Kenya Karinga AB is a vibrant and elegant specialty coffee from Kiambu County, one of Kenya’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions. Grown at an altitude of approximately 1,840 m, this coffee is produced by more than 500 smallholder farmers, members of Gitwe Farmers’ Cooperative Society, who deliver their cherries to Karinga Factory.
The Fully Washed process, characteristic of top Kenyan coffees, produces a clean, bright, well-defined cup. After roasting, the aromatic profile reveals notes of orange, rose petals, and milk chocolate, offering a refined balance of juicy acidity and creamy sweetness.
The classic Kenyan varieties (SL28, SL34), along with Ruiru 11 and Batian, contribute to the coffee’s flavor complexity and elegant structure. Kenya Karinga AB is ideal for those seeking an expressive, floral, and fruity coffee, suitable for both espresso and alternative brewing methods such as V60, Chemex, or Aeropress.
