An Ethiopian coffee that captivates with its sweetness and elegance.

If you enjoy aromatic and delicate coffees, this Ethiopia Limu will win you over from the first sip. Its profile stands out for its caramelized fragrance with a floral base, featuring notes of jasmine, caramel, chocolate, cookies, and a subtle fruity touch. The result is a sweet, smooth, and very balanced cup, with medium acidity and a light-to-medium body that makes it very easy to enjoy.

Grown at 1,900 meters above sea level in the Limu/Djimma region, this 100% Arabica coffee of the Heirloom variety comes from small local producers who work traditionally. The plants grow under the natural shade of banana trees and without the use of chemical fertilizers, respecting the environment and allowing the coffee to develop its full character.

The cherries are hand-picked during the harvest, between October and December, and are then processed using the washed method, which lends clarity and cleanliness to the cup. After washing, the coffee is dried slowly for 12 to 16 days, allowing its most elegant aromas to develop.

With a score of 85.25 SCA, this coffee reflects the classic profile of great Ethiopian coffees very well: floral, sweet, and delicate.

How can you enjoy it best?
Thanks to its aromatic and floral profile, this coffee shines especially in filter methods such as V60, Chemex, or Aeropress, where its delicate notes are best appreciated. It also works very well as espresso, offering a smooth and balanced cup with a very pleasant sweetness.
