Ethiopia Sidamo BIO Single Origin Filter - DE-ÖKO-001

This coffee comes from the Shantewene Village region, where most people, many of them women, work on the coffee plantations. The coffee farm owns 15 washing stations in three districts, which process all of the exported coffee. All farms are certified in organic and C.A.F.E. practices and are working toward additional certifications. In July 2018, the company held an “Out-Growers Day.” Nearly 1,000 farmers gathered to celebrate their harvest and receive a second payment for their coffee cherries. In addition, the three best farmers from each of the three villages received certificates and cash prizes in recognition of the consistently high quality of the cherries they delivered. A delicate organic coffee you should definitely try.
