Colombia whole bean coffee is part of the Supremo grade. The name comes from the word “supremo,” which Colombians use for coffee beans of the highest quality. A balanced coffee in which all the attributes—acidity, sweetness, and bitterness—have medium intensity, accompanied by notes of peach and citrus.
Colombia whole bean coffee will always have a slight acidity in the background when prepared as espresso, usually citrusy, with the same aftertaste. Therefore, it is more often prepared using filter methods, such as a coffee maker with a filter or alternative methods, such as Aeropress, French press, V60, or Chemex.

COLOMBIA
Coffee from Colombia benefits from a rare geographical diversity. Its flora, fauna, and terrain feature many microclimates that bring out the coffee’s unique qualities. Colombia whole bean coffee is grown at high altitudes, between 1,200 and 2,000 meters, in the regions of Huila, Antioquia, Tolima, and Santander. Colombia whole bean coffee is mainly cultivated in the mountains, on the slopes of the Cordillera mountains. The coffee usually grows in the shade of taller trees, since in areas like these near the equator, the sun can be relentless. Manufaktura Columbia Premium Beans is part of the Supremo grade.
Colombia coffee beans come from the most generous and rigorous selection, with sizes ranging from 6.7 mm to 7.10 mm according to sorting criteria, carefully picked and washed.
