Description
This barrel-aged coffee is rich, aromatic, and remarkably smooth. Notes of bourbon, cinnamon, and butterscotch create a layered cup that feels both familiar and unexpected, with the barrel character enhancing rather than overwhelming the coffee itself.
Produced by Finca El Colomba in El Salvador, this coffee was aged in freshly-drained bourbon barrels from Lockwood Distilling Company in Richardson, Texas. Through careful barrel aging and a medium roast profile, the coffee develops depth and complexity while preserving the sweetness and structure of the underlying coffee. The result is a collaboration that highlights the craftsmanship of both coffee roasting and whiskey making.
