Gerardo Arias Camacho is the producer of this fantastic coffee.

At the Monte Alto farms (30 hectares planted with coffee) and Casa de Piedra (50 hectares), he grows Arabica varieties in volcanic-origin andisol soils in the coffee-growing areas of San José and San Francisco de León Cortés.

Gerardo directly oversees both the agronomic management and coffee processing, ensuring complete traceability “from plant to cup” and consistent, uniform lots characterized by clean profiles, bright acidity, and well-defined sweetness—hallmarks of this area.

The variety: CATIGUÁ

Originating in Brazil from a cross between Catuaí and Híbrido de Timor, Catiguá is an Arabica variety selected to combine resistance and cup quality.

It is especially appreciated in specialty coffee for its aromatic potential, sweetness, and bright acidity, which can express themselves with great elegance when it is carefully grown and processed.

A variety that is still little known, but definitely worth discovering in the cup.

Ideal for: moka, espresso, filter coffee.                    Weight 250g
