Approachable, balanced, and deeply rooted in sustainability.

Now in our6th year working with Aquiares Estate, we’re proud to share this Caturra lot, a classic expression of Costa Rican coffee. Expect flavors of toasted nuts and honey, with a gentle sweetness that unfolds into notes of raisin and prune. Smooth, comforting, and versatile, this is a coffee you’ll keep coming back to.

But Aquiares is more than just great coffee. It’s a global leader in sustainability and community development. As the largest Rainforest Alliance Certified farm in Costa Rica - and certified carbon neutral - Aquiares protects its environment through carbon capture, biological corridors, and agroforestry practices that nurture soil health and biodiversity. The estate doubles as a living research hub, hosting scientists from around the world who study everything from wildlife diversity to regenerative farming.

Under the leadership of Diego Robelo, Aquiares has also become a thriving community. Over time, the farm has transformed into a small town, where workers and their families own their own homes and live year-round. It’s a model for what sustainable coffee can look like: high-quality, environmentally responsible, and people-centered.
