Description

Profile:

This Ugandan coffee comes from the fertile slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains, where more than 4,300 small producers deliver their cherries to the Mubuku washing station. Medium-roasted to preserve its natural balance, it offers a warm, expressive, and surprisingly approachable cup, with moderate acidity and a rich aromatic profile.

Tasting notes:

A winey profile with the brightness of ripe fruit, followed by a molasses sweetness that adds depth and roundness. Delicate nutty nuances smooth everything out for a gentle, indulgent, harmonious finish.

Ideal for:

Paper filter (V60, Chemex, Kalita), drip coffee maker, pour-over —
as well as a bold espresso, rich and naturally sweet.

The story:

Born in the heart of the Rwenzori range, this coffee is the result of exceptional collective work. The cherries are hand-sorted and then naturally dried on raised beds for 18 to 24 days, concentrating their sugars and revealing the full complexity of the terroir. This coffee pays tribute to the communities of Kasese, their expertise, and the beauty of a landscape where altitude, volcanic soils, and climate create ideal conditions for producing a vibrant, authentic coffee.
