The natural coffee process involves sun drying ripe coffee cherry and removing the seeds from the fruit once it has fully dried. This process contributes a variety of fruity qualities while embellishing body as well as sweetness. We created the Supernatural to capture the quintessential essence of what the natural coffee process has to offer.

Each year we tase scores of natural processed coffees from around the coffee growing globe. With the advent of innovative oxygen reduced natural processes, like anaerobic and carbonic, the capacity for fruit in the cup has grown to new heights. The heady, yet focused effect of this process on native Ethiopian landrace coffee varieties inspired us to name this coffee for the supernatural impact it has in the cup.

Make sure to try this coffee as espresso, in the Moka pot or the Aeropress to create a an even more concentrated fruity profile. An espresso shot of Supernatural over vanilla ice cream also makes for a transcendent affogato.

After repose, this coffee is sealed in Grain-Pro barrier packaging and then send it on its way to our Roastery where we preserve the green coffee under hermetic seal until it is roasted as part of our Barrington Green Seal Program©.
