Description

ABOUT THIS COFFEE
Los Naranjos is a picturesque town in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range, on the border between the departments of Sonsonate and Ahuachapán, in El Salvador, at an altitude of 1,000 to 2,050 meters above sea level. The town is part of the famous Ruta de Las Flores, a tourist route linking several municipalities in the western part of the country. Years ago, these lands were devoted almost exclusively to coffee cultivation. However, coffee left behind more than an economic legacy: it helped shape the development of the town. Many early coffee producers supported the community by donating land and resources to build schools, churches, and other institutions that still serve the region today. The Los Naranjos blend is made up of three varieties: Bourbon, Pacas, and Catimor. This coffee comes from the Los Naranjos farm. The farm has soil rich in volcanic minerals and organic matter, with a canopy of trees providing a wide variety of shade. It is located between two hills: “Pilón” and “El Águila.”
This area offers a wide range of microclimates suited to many coffee varieties. The Los Naranjos farm has been a true learning ground for developing extensive expertise in coffee cultivation, but above all, it has helped the company recognize the importance of sustainable practices. The farm’s greatest source of pride is its strong connection with the community, creating jobs, supporting schools, and helping provide access to drinking water, benefiting more than 80 families in the area.
This farm is herbicide-free. Pure REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE.
