Description

Papua New Guinea – Goroka Valley

Grown in the lush, mountainous landscapes surrounding Papua New Guinea ‘s Eastern Highlands, this coffee comes from a region renowned for its fertile volcanic soils, tropical climate and exceptional growing conditions.

Here, coffee is cultivated at high altitudes, where cooler temperatures allow the cherries to ripen slowly, helping to develop sweetness, complexity and depth of flavour.

Papua New Guinea has a unique coffee-growing heritage, with much of its coffee produced by smallholder farmers who tend their crops using traditional methods. The result is coffee with a wonderful sense of character and place.

Our Goroka Valley is a beautifully approachable coffee, offering a satisfying balance of sweetness, body and gentle acidity. An excellent choice for anyone looking to explore something a little different from the more familiar South American origins.
