Mexico, Veracruz | Finca La Laja
Ooh La Laja is a honey-processed Mexican coffee from Finca La Laja in Veracruz. Honey process means the beans dry with some of the sticky fruit still clinging on, and you can taste it: chocolate-covered orange, a spoonful of blackberry cobbler, and a big creamy body that lingers.
Caturra and Garnica grown between 1,130 and 1,250 meters, roasted light-medium so the fruit and the chocolate share the stage.
