We searched for a long time for a decaf that doesn’t taste like a compromise. Nyeri in Kenya, high on Mount Kenya, produces dense beans at 1,800 to 2,000 meters thanks to cool nights. They retain their structure and clarity after decaffeination. As a washed coffee, the cup is orderly and clean. It’s decaffeinated with pressurized CO₂, which selectively removes caffeine while largely preserving the coffee’s character, without solvents in a closed loop. Roasted as an Omni Roast, it works just as well as espresso as it does in a filter. It tastes of cacao nibs, dark caramel, and mandarin. If you didn’t know, you wouldn’t recognize it as decaf.
