Description

This light roast is suitable for mild coffee. Chocolate and nutty notes are complemented by fruity ones.

100% Arabica coffee (varieties SL14, SL28, Nyasaland), lightly roasted. Grown on Masaba (Mt. Elgon) in Uganda at 1,500 to 2,100 meters above sea level.

Specialty coffee with a cupping score of >84 points.

This single-origin coffee is carefully hand-picked on the coffee farms, wet-processed, sun-dried, sorted, and then gently roasted in Hannover.

Each bag shows who grew and processed the coffee inside (the farmer shown on the sticker is just an example)! In addition to the photo, you can scan the QR code below it to listen to an audio introduction to the respective producer and get an even better idea of who is behind the production.

Although individual lots may vary slightly in their flavor nuances, the overall sensory profile is always the same.

Direct trade on equal terms

We personally purchase the coffee directly from the producers in Uganda. We know the people behind the coffee, so we can trace where our coffee comes from and the conditions under which it is produced. Learn more about our philosophy here.

For every kilo of roasted coffee sold, €5 also goes toward projects grounded in scientific research, implemented together with our local team. Your purchase directly helps drive meaningful change locally.
