Our most caffeinated coffee blend, Marcello Strong, is made from two sustainable organic coffees and stands out with its full-bodied flavor, abundant crema, and notes of dark chocolate and caramel. Marcello Strong is our interpretation of an Italian roast, meaning it is roasted very dark.

The star of the show is an Indian Robusta, which provides plenty of caffeine and a long-lasting, foamy crema. A naturally processed Brazilian Arabica adds subtle accents to the blend. The Beranagodu family in India produces the organic green coffee beans. We source them through Gollücke & Rothfos in Bremen, which has been buying directly in India for many years. This Robusta grows at an altitude of 950 to 1,250 meters and contributes the bold body and great crema of our coffee blend.

The Brazilian Dutra makes up another 30% of our blend. It comes from Matas de Minas, a region known for coffee growing. The Dutra family now runs its farms in the second generation. Walter and Ednilson Dutra have invested a great deal of time and money in modernizing the farms. They sell their organically certified coffees worldwide and regularly take part in competitions. The lot we purchased for our Marcello Strong is naturally processed, has a medium body, and notes of roasted nuts
