Description
In the Peruvian province of Villa Rica, on the slopes of Mount Wapen, lies Finca La Esperanza. At an altitude of 1,800 meters, the Arabica varieties Geisha, Bourbon, Catimor, Caturra, and Catuai are grown organically here. Onofre Martin lives and works here. She belongs to the Indigenous Yanesha people and is now producing coffee here in the third generation. Organic farming in harmony with the local flora and fauna is especially important to her, as it provides her family with a long-term livelihood. This coffee has a light body, medium acidity, and pronounced sweetness. In the cup, we find notes of cocoa, almond, and apricot.
