Description

Among the highlands of Kiambu County, one of Kenya’s most renowned coffee-growing regions, Wamuguma AA is cultivated at elevations of 1,600 to 1,900 meters. Here, volcanic soils, a mild climate, and abundant rainfall create ideal conditions for the cherries to ripen slowly, encouraging the development of a rich, bright, and balanced aromatic profile.

The Batian, Ruiru 11, and SL28 varieties express the character of the region at its best, combining aromatic complexity, elegance, and excellent cup quality. The washed process highlights the coffee’s clarity and lively acidity, resulting in a clean, well-defined cup.

Fresh, citrusy lime notes come through in the tasting, accompanied by the juicy sweetness of blueberries and a smooth, enveloping finish reminiscent of maple syrup. A refined coffee with pleasing complexity, it captures the full identity of Kenyan terroir.
