Ethiopia Sidamo – these beans are roasted with the goal of making the perfect brew in an espresso machine, Moka pot, or French press.
A great choice for fans of coffees with subtle, fruity notes. It stands out for its pronounced sweetness reminiscent of milk chocolate, as well as its delicacy and light body. Notes of peanuts add depth, while a pleasant, clear orange acidity rounds out the finish.

Description
Ethiopia is considered the birthplace of coffee and a pioneer in its cultivation and processing. It is renowned for its high-quality Arabica, grown mainly by small farms. These smallholders focus exclusively on growing the plants, while the subsequent processing of the coffee cherries takes place at washing stations.
There, farmers deliver the harvested cherries. They are carefully sorted, and only fully ripe, red fruit undergoes further processing. The cherries are fed into a special depulper, which removes the pulp and skin. The beans are then placed in fermentation tanks, where they remain for 24–36 hours, depending on the weather. During this time, the remaining mucilage, loosened by fermentation, settles in the tanks.
Next, the beans are moved to water channels, where they are further “washed” to remove any remaining impurities. After this, the coffee must be dried to the appropriate moisture level of 12%, so it is placed on special drying “beds.”
These are usually wooden tables with a suitable, breathable material supporting the beans. The beans are raked several times a day to prevent fermentation.
The entire drying process takes around 10–15 days, until the beans reach the proper moisture level.

A coffee flavor you’ll come back to
Our customers often tell us that since they started drinking our coffees, the popular market favorites they used to buy no longer taste as good. Their sensory complexity opens up a world of flavor and aroma that they want to return to. We then invite them to explore new experiences from our extensive selection. Every coffee has its own distinctive flavor notes, shaped by the place where it is grown. This is known as TERROIR—the soil type, weather and climate characteristic of a given area, annual rainfall, and growing altitude. All these factors give coffees from different regions their unique flavor. We know how to bring out that flavor through a roasting approach we have refined over many years.
Artisanal roasting
What sets us apart from industrial coffee roasters is, above all, the quality of our green coffee and our roasting approach. We roast our coffees at low temperatures in drum roasters, then cool them with ambient air after roasting (rather than with water, as industrial roasters do). This allows us to bring out the coffees’ best sensory qualities, rich flavor, and distinctive aroma. We use a special program throughout the process that stores our roasting recipes for each coffee. These roast profiles have been refined over the years by our roaster. This means we can be sure that every time you reach for our coffee, its flavor will be excellent and consistent.
Trusted green coffee suppliers
Over the years, we have met wonderful people in the coffee industry, including both coffee-trading companies and farmers themselves. We choose to work only with suppliers who make quality their top priority. Transparency and fairness are also important to us. That is why we decided to join the fair trade organization Fairtrade. Before each delivery, we know exactly where the beans come from, their quality, which harvest they are from, and their sensory profile. We are interested only in the highest-quality premium and specialty beans. Every lot of green coffee that arrives at our roastery is evaluated, and its moisture level is tested. This gives us confidence that we provide excellent-quality coffee.
Eco-friendly coffee packaging
All our coffees are packed in special bags equipped with a valve to release gas from the beans. The bags are also easy to open and feature a resealable zipper. This helps the coffee stay fresh long after the bag is opened. We roast our coffees regularly. Our packaging includes all the information you need about the beans’ origin, sensory profile, recommended brewing method, and roast date for each batch. This makes it easier for you to choose the right coffee.
