Description

Our Inzu Blend Espresso Light is perfect for anyone who prefers lighter roasts to classic dark Italian roasts. In terms of flavor, it falls between our bold roast and the Inzu Blend Espresso Dark.

Our light-roasted version of the house espresso is a blend of naturally and washed-processed Arabica coffee from various farms in the Bulambuli District on Masaba (Mount Elgon). It is currently available in 250g and 1000g bags. You can also get this coffee loose at the café, of course.

Tasting notes: Mild acidity, full body, notes of cocoa and chocolate.

A recipe suggestion for preparing this coffee in an espresso machine was kindly provided by 'Das Brühbuch' (Instagram) and can serve as a guide to dialing it in, if needed. Please note that if you select "espresso machine" as the grind size, we cannot guarantee that it will suit your machine.

Direct trade on equal terms

We personally purchase the coffee directly from the producers in Uganda. We know the people behind the coffee, so we can trace where our coffee comes from and the conditions under which it is produced. Find out more about our philosophy here.

For every kilo of roasted coffee sold, €5 also goes toward projects backed by scientific research, carried out together with our team on the ground. Your purchase directly helps bring about meaningful change locally.
