The naturally processed is roasted medium dark. It produces a rich, full-bodied flavor yet maintains the smoothness usually found in a lighter roast. Featuring a pleasant cinnamon nuance and undertones of dark chocolate, this bean is perfect for anything from filter coffee to espresso.
We have teamed up with San Coffee in Brazil to bring their special chocolate recipe. Paired with our Honduras SHG from Cafesmo, which gives cocoa, herbal and nutty flavours with an aftertaste of lemon and languishing creamy mouthfeel. Whilst the coffee itself me be somewhat conventional, the cup profile of this Rainforest Alliance certified coffee is anything but. A creamy chocolate body, encased with sugar cane sweetness and toffee flavours outperform any of our expectations. Lashings of sweet caramel in the aroma, with a gentle cocoa aftertaste
- SHG (Strictly High Grown) specifies that the coffee was grown at an altitude above 1350 meters. This term is also synonymous with SHB (Strictly Hard Bean); this classification is lower than HB.
- EP (European Preparation) specifies that the raw beans are all hand sorted to remove any defective beans and foreign material.
Rory’s Tasting Notes:
Bright tasting with warm chocolate and caramel tones, and smooth under currents of raisin and date.
Brew Ratio: 1:2.25
Extraction Time : 30 – 35 Seconds
