  • Sertao has been the espresso we serve in our cafés in Frankfurt for several years. We really appreciate its versatility and consistently high quality. With each harvest, this coffee delights us with a wonderful nutty-chocolatey body and a lovely sweetness that comes through beautifully both as espresso and in milk drinks. Roasted in a fairly classic espresso style, yet with a light specialty coffee profile, Sertao appeals to a wide range of coffee drinkers.
  • For several years now, we have been impressed by the green coffees grown over generations by the Pereira family in the Carmo de Minas region of Brazil. Our house espresso is grown at an elevation of 1,100–1,450 m across 330 hectares. Each year, between June and August, the coffee cherries from our Red Bourbon, along with several other coffees that we have previously featured in our selection, are harvested and then processed as Natural. In-house Q graders from the carmocoffees organization evaluate the coffees on site.
