LAS MERCEDES - NICARAGUA

The Las Mercedes farm, located in San Rafael in the Jinotega region, spans 49 hectares. It is managed by Pascual Osegueda, a fourth-generation coffee producer, together with his wife and children. Their extensive experience in this world translates into an extraordinary balance in the cup: in terms of flavor, acidity, sweetness, and bitterness work together in remarkable harmony.

The initial acidity calls to mind notes of orange peel; as it develops on the palate, it turns toward sweetness, bringing out hints of almond, honey, and dried fruit such as apricot. The finish is slightly bitter, with notes of dark chocolate: a pleasant, desirable sensation, with a guaranteed wow factor in the cup. Medium body.

A coffee you could drink all day long, especially suited to this time of year, when notes of brown sugar are a precious treat for body and mood.
Our hearts need warming, and this is just the right coffee to meet that need.
