Description

Story
Nestled in Costa Rica's West Valley, Cerro San Luis Micromill is operated by siblings Alexander and Magali Delgado alongside their spouses, combining family farming with hands-on milling at their home in Grecia. Driven by a commitment to quality, the family revitalized their farms by planting more than ten coffee varieties, including SL-28, Bourbon, Caturra, Villa Sarchi, and Maragogype. Each neighboring plot is carefully separated for lot traceability, while freshly harvested cherries are processed just minutes away at the family mill. There, the Delgados produce washed, honey, and natural coffees, with each honey process tailored by carefully controlling how much mucilage remains after depulping—a hallmark of Costa Rican micromill craftsmanship.
