The word „Kahuro” means „the lower part of a hill” in Kikuyu, and the place is said to be inhabited by spirits. We don’t know whether these spirits like coffee, but New Gikaru Kahuro, a Kenyan coffee that’s new to our selection, certainly impressed the SCA tasters, who rated it 87.5 out of 100.

The word „Kahuro” means „the lower part of a hill” in Kikuyu, and the place is said to be inhabited by spirits. We don’t know whether these spirits like coffee, but New Gikaru Kahuro, a Kenyan coffee that’s new to our selection, certainly impressed the SCA tasters, who rated it 87.5 out of 100.
This coffee is processed using the washed method, and the brewed coffee has notes of black currant and chocolate.
We select the roast level for each coffee to bring out its natural qualities, but we’re also happy to accommodate your preferences.
