This coffee/espresso made from monsooned coffee is a true rarity: The traditional “monsooning” process naturally transforms the bean, giving it its characteristic straw-yellow color and unique flavor profile. Born from a historic “shipping defect,” this coffee is now a highly prized specialty.

The hot, humid climate along the Indian Malabar Coast brings about gentle fermentation, giving the coffee particularly mild acidity, a balanced body, and finely tuned flavors of chocolate and roasted walnut.

Thanks to our particularly gentle, low-temperature roasting, the complex flavor profile is fully preserved.
