Yirgacheffe is a renowned coffee-growing region in southern Ethiopia, and year after year, it produces some of the most expressive coffees we have tasted. Grown at 1,900 meters in the Gedeo Zone, this lot develops vibrant acidity, delicate florals, and a little more weight in the body.
It comes from about 700 smallholder producers who deliver their ripe cherries to the Kebel Aricha mill. Once washed, the coffee dries on raised beds for 12 to 15 days, depending on the weather. Expect notes of peach, black tea, and floral in a light roast that’s unmistakably Yirgacheffe.
