Description

Hadeso washing station sits at 1,950m in Shakisso, Guji, and brings together coffee from 700 independent outgrowers around Dambi Uddo. Most farm small plots organically, growing coffee alongside food crops beneath native shade trees. The local Oromo community treats coffee and the land with deep care, and Hadeso’s team carries that attention into processing. Ripe cherries are hand-sorted, then dried slowly on raised beds for 15–18 days, with careful turning and protection from midday sun and overnight dew. Family-owned Testi Specialty Coffee established Hadeso in 2017, part of founder Faysel Abdosh’s commitment to Guji and the distinctive quality and reliability its farmers produce each year.
