Description: A firm favourite with our customers, Blue Sumatra is a rich and full-bodied coffee sourced from the Gayo Highlands in the Central Aceh region of Indonesia.

Grown at altitudes between 1350 and 1600 metres and processed using the traditional wet-hulled (Giling Basah) method, this coffee develops its distinctive depth and smooth character.

Roasted to a medium-dark level, it delivers a complex and aromatic cup with notes of chocolate, syrup, cherry, citrus and peach, balanced by low acidity and a full body.

Produced under Rainforest Alliance, Organic and Fairtrade certifications, it offers both quality and traceability from farm to cup.

This is the darkest roasted of our single origin coffees, giving it extra richness while maintaining clarity of flavour.

Available as whole beans or ground and freshly roasted in Aberdeen.
