Chocolate, rum, and cappuccino: there is hardly a better combination. This next recipe should therefore not be missing from this list of special coffee recipes.
The ingredients for 1 cappuccino with rum and chocolate are:
- 100 milliliters of milk;
- 75 milliliters of espresso;
- 30 grams (dark) chocolate;
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional);
- 1 tablespoon of rum;
- Whipped cream (optional).
You make this cappuccino with rum and chocolate as follows:
- Heat the milk until it becomes fluffy.
- Add the sugar to the milk, if desired, to sweeten it up a bit.
- Break the chocolate into pieces and place some at the bottom of the coffee cup.
- Make espresso and pour it into the coffee cup.
- Now pour the milk over the coffee. Make sure that the foam also ends up in the cup.
- Now garnish the coffee with pieces of shaved chocolate and possibly some whipped cream.
Tip: Not fond of cappuccino? Then omit the milk and only add whipped cream. You can stir the sugar into the espresso if you want, so that the sweet taste is preserved.
