Lineage Coffee Roasting is a craft coffee roaster from Orlando, FL set on sharing our love of coffee with our community. We’re passionate about uncovering the nuances and complexities of each coffee we source, roast, and serve, and telling the stories behind them.

1. 2012 JAN - Jarrett and Justine decide to start a coffee business, and pick the name “Lineage“
2. 2012 MAY - Bought first perforated drum roaster and retrofitted a grill to roast with an ice cream motor (the coffee was every bit as bad as you’d expect)
3. 2012 OCT - Decided to buy our first real 3kg roaster with some help from family

DESTROYED LOTS OF COFFEE WHILE LEARNING…

1. 2013 APR - Lineage’s Audubon Park Farmer’s Market debut

LOTS OF TRAVEL AND STUDYING FROM OTHER ROASTERS …

1. 2013 SEP - Ryan joined the Lineage Family
2. 2013 OCT - Lineage’s Coffee Bar opened at East End Market
3. 2013 DEC - Landed our first big wholesale customer and outgrew our 3kg roaster

STUDYING, EXPERIMENTATION, AND HONING THE CRAFT …

1. 2015 JAN - First sourcing trip to Colombia
2. 2015 JUL - Began to open up direct trade relationships in Guatemala, Colombia, Kenya, and Brazil

BUILT GROWER RELATIONSHIPS THROUGHOUT AFRICA AND CENTRAL AMERICA …

1. 2017 MAR - Began work to open our second location in Mills/50
2. 2017 DEC - Opened our second location in Downtown Orlando!
3. 2018 JUN - Began developing closer relationships in Ethiopia and Kenya with top quality producers
4. 2018 NOV - Purchased a second roaster and began customizing lot specific roasts to highlight unique profiles
5. 2019 JUN - Began buildout at University cafe and Ryan began his laminated dough education journey
6. 2020 DEC - Opened our bakery location focusing on the highest quality baked goods
7. 2021 JUN - Purchased 100% one of our favorite Ethiopia lots of all time. Dammu named lot from Gera in Limu region from our friends at Abana Estate
8. 2021 OCT - We began delivering our special croissants to Mills 50 cafe
9. 2022 AUG - Finally launched our Lineage Education Program with classes and books

FuturePLANSWe have always said we want to stay education focused, providing the absolute best coffee and experience in the world to both our team and our customers. We plan to dive more into our education programming and do more competitions while possibly opening one more Lineage spot
