Peru Pichanaki Geisha Fairtrade
A real champion: our Specialty Coffee Peru Pichanaki Geisha Fairtrade! With its sweet notes, the fine papaya aroma and floral accents such as jasmine and rose, the Peruvian coffee achieved a total of 87 points. At the small world championships in the Chanchamayo region, he not only played his way to the top, but also won the hearts of the jury. There, at the "Mundialito de la Calidad", our coffee hunter also came across this treasure trove of aromas, which inspired the coffee experts in the cupping.
The Arabica varieties Typica and Geisha produce a particularly fine and elegant cup that tastes like a walk through a Peruvian garden must smell: like flowers, fruits, wild honey. Señor Rivera Martines Santos, a member of the ACPC Pichanaki cooperative, is responsible for this. There, after harvesting, the coffee cherries are gently and carefully wet-processed using the “washed” method. A perfect interaction of outstanding coffee producers and a flagship of the coffee-growing country of Peru.
Our Specialty Peru Pichanaki Geisha Fairtrade is 100 percent fair trade and has been roasted by hand in the drum roaster by our experienced master roasters in the roastery on the dike.
