Description

PachaMama roughly means "Mother Earth". She gives life and, as the goddess of fertility, is responsible for food and drink. The symbol of coffee means infinity and harbors the hope that this privileged coffee will stay with us forever. Find out more about climate-neutral organic coffee in our blog.

The PachaMama coffee smells of cocoa and almonds. It tastes finely spicy and full-bodied, its body is balanced. The exquisite acidity is mild and unobtrusive. All in all a wonderfully delicious coffee!

BIO PachaMama - a special coffee

In addition to the exquisite taste , the social component is important to us. The coffee farmers produce the PachaMama in a socially responsible manner and grow it organically. Because sustainability is important to us. We appreciate this special organic coffee very much.

BIO PachaMama - origin and climate at its finest

In 2011, 50 coffee farmers founded the "Asociación de Agricultores Grano de Oro Miguel Grau" in Peru . They got out of the larger cooperative La Florida, the farmers there sometimes produced inferior qualities. In order not to mix this up, our coffee farmers decided to opt out.

The new organization is at a privileged altitude. Top coffees can grow here and thrive in peace . Mineral-rich Andean soil, ideal microclimate and year-round water supply. So ideal conditions for the best organic coffee .

BIO PachaMama and direct trade

The term " Direct Trade " is not a registered trademark. With "PachaMama" we go the trade route without intermediate stages. We pay significantly more than the current market price directly to the farmers. This is how we enable them to have a decent standard of living.

In return, we expect high-quality coffee from healthy and naturally fertilized plants. The coffee is paid for according to quality and must meet the highest standards. So class instead of mass. The payment of the farmers through direct trade is done personally, without going through middlemen.

In addition, social and ecological projects are financed in the association. The contracts with the farmers and the flow of money are transparent . With the purchase of this organic coffee you support a really good project. And you taste it!
