Description
At the foothills of Mount Elgon in the Rwenzori Mountains, Norman Mukuru founded a center in 2018 to receive and dry green coffee for local smallholder farmers. Due to challenging conditions such as high humidity, insect damage, and inconsistent harvesting practices, sourcing high-quality coffee in Uganda is very complex. Strict quality controls and careful selection resulted in this semi-dry natural, called “Kiboko.” We find it juicy and sweet, full-bodied, and subtly floral.
