Szary is constantly on the move – airports, backstage, hotels, tours. For him, coffee is far more than a pick-me-up.
“Coffee is a drug… maybe even like sex.”

At the same time, he was looking for a coffee that wouldn’t get him wired. That’s how the idea for a Lowcaf blend he could drink several times a day, without compromising on flavor, came about in collaboration with NANO.

His image for the blend: a locked groove – an endless, smooth loop where you hear more and more details over time. His ritual: the first Moka pot outdoors, sometimes alone, sometimes with his partner. A moment of calm before the day begins. That’s exactly what good morning | Lowcaf is made for.

The origin

The three components in this blend come from regions where coffee has been grown for generations – deeply rooted in the land, organized around community, and cultivated with respect for the soil and climate.

Brazil – Dutra (natural):
Natural drying creates sweetness, texture, and body – the blend’s rounded base.

Ethiopia – Beshasha (washed):
Grown at higher elevations beneath shade trees. The washed process brings clarity and floral elegance. This component adds lightness and precision.

Mexico – Las Hortensias (CO₂-decaf):
Organically grown; the communities use the CO₂ process to decaffeinate the coffee. This preserves the aroma, leaving it clean, mildly sweet, and compelling.

Nature

The growing regions have diverse microclimates: tropical and warm in Brazil, high-altitude and airy in Ethiopia, fertile and densely vegetated in Mexico.
