Description

Price update – starting September 15, 2026

Our customers who discover this decaf espresso and then try another one always come back to us eventually! The decaffeinated VAN DYCK espresso blend is so aromatic and mild that we can recommend it with complete confidence. Surprise skeptics with a blind taste test—the results might surprise you… You don’t always need the full blast!

We buy our green coffee with an eye to the future and in larger quantities to offset price fluctuations on the global market. Decaffeinated green coffee doesn’t keep as long as caffeinated green coffee because the beans are changed by the decaffeination process. That’s why we only buy small quantities of Libero. And since the quality of our decaf coffee is absolutely fantastic, we don’t want to do without this green coffee.

More about the decaffeination process

CO2 process – solvent-free and aromatic

Our green coffee is decaffeinated using the CO2 process. The green coffee beans are treated with steam, then rinsed with carbon dioxide at a pressure of 73–300 bar, which extracts the caffeine. The carbon dioxide then evaporates, leaving only pure caffeine behind. The CO2 is processed and reused in the medical field.

Blend: 100% Arabica
Origin: Currently South America
Strength: Medium-bodied
