Cauca Excelso

For 3rd Wave specialty coffee lovers, Cauca Excelso is a lovely fruit-forward coffee from the Cauca region of Colombia. Citrus freshness, vanilla aromas, and a pleasant touch of caramel characterize this coffee. With an SCA score of 84, we recommend preparing it as espresso or using a French press, Chemex, or V60 pour-over.

Cauca Excelso is especially suited to lovers of filter coffee and espresso. For pour-over, we recommend 3–4 heaping tablespoons (30–40 g), poured over gradually. For a double shot in an espresso machine, we recommend 18 g. The coffee can be ordered as whole beans or ground to the appropriate size.
