Our Rwanda Fugi Kiyonza Hill is a light-medium roast with notes of pear, lime, and black tea.

One hill, sixty growers

This Red Bourbon lot comes from 60 smallholder farmers around Kiyonza Hill and is processed at Fugi washing station in southern Rwanda. We source it through Sundog Trading and Emmanuel Rusatira’s Baho Coffee, which keeps hillside communities’ coffees separate so each lot can be traced to its growers.

At Fugi, the coffee is carefully sorted, fermented, washed, and slowly dried on raised beds. Alongside that processing work, Baho supports farmers with agricultural training, seedlings, and contributions toward health insurance.
