Palila Espresso & Breakfast Blend
Named after the Hawaiian honeycreeper, Palila is our house blend coffee: rich, well-rounded, and welcoming. We serve it daily as espresso and batch brew at our Hilo café, where it shares the lineup with Hawaiian Harmony and Moaʻula ʻOhana.
Freshly roasted in Hilo, Hawaiʻi, this medium-dark blend combines direct-trade Red Bourbon from Guatemala with coffees from South America. A plush, satiny mouthfeel and balanced sweetness make it equally satisfying as a morning drip brew or as an afternoon espresso.
Its nutty, cocoa-forward profile pairs beautifully with milk, while its complexity comes through in a straight shot or batch brew. A favorite among our café guests, Palila is also served daily by our resort partner, Mauna Lani Auberge.
