The beans for ORANG UTAN ESPRESSO grow on the edge of the tropical rainforest on Sumatra, Indonesia. For every kilogram of green coffee sold, one euro in total is split equally between the local, ecologically sustainable coffee farmers in Wih Bersih on Sumatra and the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP).
The Orang Utan Coffee Project helps bring commerce and conservation into harmony in Indonesia to protect the tropical rainforest and, in turn, the habitat of orangutans on Sumatra. You can find more information about our partnership here.
The coffee is very harmonious and balanced. Its sweetness is complemented by subtle spice and gentle fruit flavors. We taste molasses and cherry. Delicious with milk (or a milk alternative), too!
