Description
Monsooned Malabar
Different varieties and growing areas determine the taste of coffee. Monsooned Malabar beans offer an exceptional taste experience originating in a long tradition: 200 years ago, when wooden vessels carried coffee from Malabar in India to Europe, the coffee beans changed their essential character with the help of the monsoon winds during their long journey. This special taste and aroma of the Monsooned Malabar beans were widely appreciated so that from then on these nature conditions – the so-called monsoon – were integrated into the planting and harvesting process of these premium beans.
Discover with Melitta® Monsooned Malabar a fine composition of 100% Monsooned Malabar beans from India. Exposed several days to the monsoon rains, dried seven weeks through the monsoon winds, and carefully roasted, these beans unfold their intense and typical character which reminds of dark chocolate notes.
