Description
ABOUT
This natural coffee is the result of the work of nearly 450 producers based around the station.
After harvesting, they bring their cherries to the station, where they are carefully sorted before being spread out to dry on the station’s raised beds.
During the drying process, moisture levels are monitored and the cherries are turned every two hours. During the hottest part of the day, the beds are covered to protect the cherries from the sun.
Once dry, the coffee beans are stored in jute bags in a warehouse in Chelchele, located 5 km away.
