Keramo Adara is part of Daye Bensa Coffee - the exporter and mill owner of some of the best lots we find in Ethiopia every year, including our renowned Durato Bombe. Daye Bensa runs the Keramo Adara washing station which sits at the highest elevation in Daye Bensa's network, deep in the Bombe mountains of Bensa. Cool temperatures, steady rainfall, and rich soil slow cherry maturation, building density and complexity in the cup.
This natural-processed lot dries on raised beds for 14–18 days, preserving its signature fruit-forward character and an intense, sweet cup with a long finish. Smallholder farmers deliver cherries to the station, backed by Daye Bensa's training and quality control. The station has earned Cup of Excellence awards in 2020, 2021, and 2022 and is one of the most decorated in Ethiopia.
