An exceptional honey-process coffee from the Aponte Indigenous Reserve in Nariño, Colombia.
About 200 small-scale producers work here, having specialized in high-quality specialty coffee production in recent years—many of them true pioneers of honey processing in the region.
The conditions could hardly be better: an altitude of 1,700–1,800 m, cool temperatures, and very slow drying thanks to the stable climate. This is exactly what gives the cup its clear structure and delicate complexity.
