Our #17 Organic Espresso is an Arabica (Red Catuai variety) from Brazil’s Matas de Minas coffee-growing region (processed as natural). The farm belongs to the Dutra family, who grow the coffee at 1,400 meters. #17 is flavorful, well-rounded, and bold, with pleasant notes of bittersweet chocolate, sugarcane, and cocoa. It also has a lovely freshness from a subtle hint of grapefruit in the secondary notes, combined with a honey-like roast aroma. #17 is perfect as espresso from an espresso machine or superautomatic machine.
