Honduras Cafescor La Platanera Fairtrade & Bio
Surprisingly sweet – and wonderfully creamy: Matured in the Central American sun, our Honduras delights with intense sweetness, dark red wine nuances and floral notes.
A unique aroma of the comparatively large bean of the Parainema variety, which can be discovered in western Honduras: there, at an altitude of between 1,200 and 1,700 meters in the mountains of Copán, the coffee plants grow on nutrient-rich soil. The gentle and intensive drying of the hand-picked beans ensures an unadulterated taste – and is the reason for an excellent score of 87.
Our specialty Honduras is sustainably grown in accordance with the EU organic regulation, is 100 percent fair trade and is roasted by hand in a drum roaster directly on the Weser dike in Bremen.
