Der Hoyo Frio ist ein Pink Bourbon aus Santander, Kolumbien, mit Aromen von Pfirsich, Mango, Passionsfrucht, Schokolade und Tee.
Félix Torres bewirtschaftet die Finca Hoyo Frio auf ca. 2.000 Metern in Curití, Santander. AMORI bezieht den Hoyo Frio direkt von Félix Torres, ohne Zwischenstufen. Die Kirschen fermentieren mehrere Tage mit Fruchtfleisch unter kontrollierten Bedingungen, bevor sie getrocknet werden. Roberto Cascone röstet den Hoyo Frio per Trommelröstung in Mainz auf dem Giesen W15 als Omni Roast.
Der Hoyo Frio passt im Siebträger zu Espresso, Flat White und fruchtigen Milchgetränken. Im Filter und in der Aeropress treten Pfirsich und Tee stärker hervor. Die French Press betont den Körper.
