Honduras Los Geranios

Milk chocolate, sweet nougat, and juicy stone fruit. Honduras Los Geranios is a limited-edition coffee we prepared especially for this year’s Black Month at LaCava! It comes from the Siguatepeque region of Honduras, where coffee plants are grown at an altitude of 1,700 meters. It’s a blend of three Arabica varieties: Catuaí, Parainema, and IHCAFE-90, which together create a harmonious flavor profile combining dessert-like sweetness with delicate fruity freshness.

The beans underwent Washed processing, which brings out the coffee’s clean flavor, subtle acidity, and clearly defined aromatic notes. The cup is dominated by pleasant notes of milk chocolate and creamy nougat, complemented by the juicy sweetness of stone fruit. This well-balanced coffee is a great choice for pour-over methods such as V60, Chemex, or a drip coffee maker. It’s ideal for those who look for sweetness in their pour-over coffee but don’t want to give up fruity notes entirely.
