Gasharu Rugori ist ein Direct-Trade-Farmkaffee aus Ruanda mit anaerober Natural-Fermentation und Red-Bourbon-Varietät. Die anaerobe Fermentation prägt das Profil: dunkle Beeren, Pflaume und Karamell. Der Körper ist vollmundig, die Säure präsent, aber weich eingebunden. Anaerobe Fermentation verstärkt Fruchtnoten und Süße gegenüber klassisch gewaschenem Ruanda-Kaffee.
Die Kooperative Gasharu in Nyamasheke, Westruanda, produziert Gasharu Rugori im Women’s Crown Programm. AMORI bezieht Gasharu Rugori über Direct Trade. Roberto Cascone röstet Gasharu Rugori in Mainz per Trommelröstung als Omni Roast auf mittlerem Röstgrad.
